August 22nd, 2004 (when) - Dan and Krista stole their brother's van in Queens. Kidnapped Nat up in Harlem. Nabbed Walter, Sandra, Nicole, and myself from Greenpoint (who). And then drove us all to City Island in the Bronx (where). Our mission (what): eat seafood. (why?) Because it's really, really good there. (So says Krista!)

An interesting thing about NY, that you'll glimpse in this gallery, is that it is not all tightly-packed Chinatown or sky-scraping midtown. With regards to its populous, it is called "a city of 8 million different stories". With regards to its neighborhoods, it is said to be "a thousand small towns all tightly packed together".

And City Island, for instance, could almost pass for a small Great Lakes town somewhere in the Midwest. (I said almost.)
