October
11th, 2003 (when) - Me
and a bunch of my yahoo friends
(who) went on a tour (what)
of Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn,
NY (where). We did this because
we're dorks (except Jen, who's a
*freak*!)
- and because our friend Nicole
is our resident travel agent (why).
Also,
this was the first time in something like 75 years that the catacombs
at Greenwood have
been opened up to the public.
My
snapshots from this beautiful necropolis are only about "a day
with friends" and "stuff I saw". As such, they're not
intended to reflect any thoughtful reverence, nor any casual disregard,
for those who now call this place home.
[Trivia
bit: The Wizard of Oz is buried here.]
