Friends...

Another of my
friend's bands. "30 Seconds of Shame". Of the
"nu-metal", "rip your face off with a vengeance"
varitey. Mmm... meh - tallll! See my gallery of these
freaks here.
You can see their MySpace page here,
and then you can go buy their shizzle from iTunes here.

My Gator Girl, Nicole,
created the sustainable packaging division (above) within the
company she works for: Design
& Source Productions. She is an active board member
of Green Home NYC,
and she is also the President
of her local alumni association, The
Gotham Gators. (God help us... I swear it's a cult!
But more of a *happy*, drink beer and yell at the TV sort of
cult. Not the "put on your white Nike's, drink your vodka,
and follow the pretty, shiny comet sort of cult.) She also has
a joint business venture with her brother providing customized
stained glass and mosaic pieces of functional artwork (inluding
windows, doors, countertops, and floors) which can be seen at
DesignsBySmith.com.

My Brazilian
Baby (on the right in the photo above). Ana studied film at
NYU, completed her Journalism degree in Rio in 2005, and currently
works in São Paulo as an Assistant Reporter on 'Em
Cena', a trends column for 'O
Estado' - one of Brazil's largest newspapers. She has also
worked for the International Film Festival, and as a Client
P.A. on feature films and commercials. Ana has worked on such
accounts as Nike, Gatorade, Miller, Kodak, & Verizon Wireless
with Brazil's prestigious production house Conspiração
Filmes and agencies such as Ogilvy, McCann, and Weiden +
Kennedy. You can see her older Fotolog (that she abandoned)
here.

My German 'Puppe',
Daniela. (You won't get that unless you speak German.) A wonderful
graphic designer, who also has a great eye when it comes to
photography. She teaches graphic design in Angermünde(?). I
think that's the city she's currently in. And what the
hell does that even translate to? "Angry World"?!
Well, it would befit our times, no?

My friend, Kara
Suzanne. A girl with a sultry voice who's always playing gigs
somewhere around this Big Apple of ours. Her record contract
should be in order any day now.

3 of my friends
(DEET-da-DEE!) put together a little band. They were genius
enough to call it "3". Because... there's, like...
THREE of them. They're smart like that. For musicians. heh-heh-heh...
But they really are great musicians. Mostly in the 'Classic
Rock' vein, but ranging from 70s-90s, and also including original
material. Steve D, Dirty Uncle Loker, and Mr. Shawn. You guys
ARE *rock stars*!

Toni the Italian;
the girl who cuts my hair at Zoe's
Beauty Salon. (Her Mom's salon, but Toni pretty much runs
the place.) She also does H&M for NY Fashion Week every season.
Her and I have done a couple of shoots together, such as this
one and that
one - with Toni handling not only H&M, but styling as
well!
